Ice on the Playground

So winter has come quite suddenly and the playground is slippery in the morning. Now as a Headteacher you have to be in charge of many things and one is Health & Safety. The children were having so much fun in the morning sliding on the playground. When Mr. Baker came out to put some sand and salt down, he was met with relief by parents and despondence by the pupils. We have come to a compromise with a path across the playground in slippery weather, but still space for the more adventurous of us who wish to slide. However take care, you slide at your own risk!
